Gainesville150

The logo celebrating the City of Gainesville's 150th Anniversary.

SYNCHRONICA

Framing Time

Commissioned by the City of Gainesville, the word mark for SYNCHRONICA :: Framing Time will likely prove to be my longest-surviving piece of graphic design work. The show, held in conjunction with the city's 150th Anniversary, will feature 150 photographs taken by local youth, and will be displayed in 2019 and again, 150 years later, in the year 2169.

The Dancing Fish of Lake Santa Fe

82°W / Six Degrees of Separation

Logo designed for the art exhibition held at the Thomas Center Galleries in Gainesville, Florida in conjunction with the Bulla Cubana Festival. Havana, Cuba and Gainesville, Florida both lie on the longitudinal line 82°W, and in fact are six latitudinal degrees from one another. Of course, the phrase "six degrees of separation" is a means of illustrating how closely related all of us in the world are.
