Since 2012, I have set up in public parks from Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square to the Boston Commons to draw commissioned portraits. These simple pencil portraits are all drawn on 9"x 11" paper, and take between 10 and 20 minutes to complete.
I've drawn individuals of all ages in this manner, from infants whose fixed attention is coaxed by spoonfuls of frozen yogurt, to elders who have been wheeled into the park by their nursing home attendants. I've drawn multiple individuals with pet cats. There are images of siblings, identical twins, lovers, a woman who hired me to create a picture for her new dating profile, a chicken vet from Australia, and so many more. They've all been a treat to know.
I've also been hired to draw these kinds of portraits of attendants of special events, like at weddings and festivals. If you're interested in hiring me for something like this, please contact me.
